CheqUp is available to adults aged 18 and over who meet the clinical eligibility criteria for weight loss treatment. Eligibility is based on factors such as BMI, medical history, and current prescriptions, and is assessed by a qualified clinician.
On BMI, we accept members with a current BMI of 25 or above, provided they began their weight loss journey with a BMI of 30 or above and received a prescription within the past 60 days. An exception applies if you have an existing weight-related condition — in that case, you may be eligible if your starting BMI was 28 or above.
No. You do not need an existing prescription. If you are eligible, our clinicians will issue a free private prescription as part of the service.
Most orders are reviewed and approved within 24 hours. In some cases, a clinician may need additional information before making a decision.
You will only be charged once your treatment has been approved by a clinician. If your treatment is not approved, you will not be charged.
Yes. The entire process — including consultation, clinician review, and payment — is completed online.
We recommend informing your GP of any new prescriptions, but it’s not essential. You’ll be given the option to enter your GP details when placing an order. When you supply your GP details, we’ll write to them with the details of the treatment prescribed.
Charges will appear under a discreet merchant name. There will be no reference to weight loss on your bank statement.
Yes. We use the same pharmaceutical suppliers and wholesalers as traditional pharmacies. All treatments are fully UK-licensed and sourced from regulated manufacturers.
Once payment is confirmed, your treatment is dispensed and delivered discreetly to your home. You’ll also gain access to your free, ongoing programme support and weight loss app.

You must begin at the lowest dose if you haven’t been on the treatment within the last 60 days. If you are switching from another provider and had your last dose within 60 days, you can upload proof of dose to continue at your current dose.
Don’t panic. Message your clinician through your account and they’ll advise the safest way to get back on track based on your treatment and when you last took it.
Most people experience mild side effects at the start of treatment. This is most commonly nausea, feeling full more quickly, or mild stomach upset, which usually settles as your body adjusts. Your clinician will explain what to expect and how to manage any side effects, and you can check in at any time.
Yes, switching is possible under clinical supervision. Our team manages the transition to ensure it’s appropriate for your health profile. You must only take one weight loss treatment at a time.
