We’ve partnered with Bluecrest Wellness. Here’s why it matters.
Our new collaboration links health assessments with structured, clinically supported weight health programmes to help people move from insight to action.
Almost two thirds of adults in England are either overweight or living with obesity. Many only seek support after a health problem has already taken hold. We believe there is a better way.
That belief sits at the heart of why we’ve partnered with Bluecrest Wellness: to connect preventative health insight with structured, clinically supported care, and give people a clearer picture of their health and a more supported path forward.
A more connected approach to weight health
We’ve always believed that weight should not be treated in isolation. Lasting progress comes from clinical oversight, behaviour change and a clearer understanding of wider health markers working together.
This partnership puts that into practice. Our members can take up a Bluecrest health assessment at any stage, building a clearer picture of where they are and tracking real changes, such as improvements to blood markers and body composition, as they progress. Meanwhile, Bluecrest customers identified as being at risk of weight-related health conditions can be referred directly into our clinically supported programme, where they’ll have access to expert guidance, a dedicated Health Coach and an evidence-based approach to long-term improvement.
From insight to action
The NHS recently expanded access to weight-loss medications to more than a million people in England with heart health issues, reflecting growing recognition of how medical treatment can help reduce the risk of serious conditions such as heart attacks and strokes.¹ But we believe medication is only one part of the picture. What matters is pairing clinical treatment with the right support structures from the start.
Bluecrest has completed over 1.3 million health assessments across more than 400 locations nationwide. We support more than 60,000 members across the UK. Together, we want to demonstrate that sustainable weight health improvement is achievable at scale.
Lisa Tookey, our CEO, said: “For many people, weight is just the starting point, and it is often connected to wider health risks. It is vital that people have a clearer picture of their health as they decide what to do next, and this partnership ensures that essential process is all happening in one place.”
Dominique Kent, CEO at Bluecrest Wellness, said: “This partnership is about helping people take action on their health with more clarity and confidence. Together with CheqUp, we can help eligible adults move from insight to action in a more joined-up and supportive way.”

Any recommendation to CheqUp remains subject to its standard clinical process. A Bluecrest referral does not guarantee eligibility for treatment. Every individual must complete CheqUp’s medical questionnaire and be reviewed and approved by a prescribing clinician.
